FELIZ DIA DE LA GRACIA Nov. 30, 2015

Okay bueno so the truth is they don't celebrate Thanksgiving here but that's okay we ate pizza and yeah it was yummy!  Also we spent  3 mil maybe us dollars its 5 dollars on a little mini Christmas tree and its super cute we decorated it and everything for Christmas. It was super cute and stuff Ill send you pictures in a minute don't even worry!  So tiny I like it though so awesome!  

Also this week we worked with members probably more than I have ever in my mission but it was so awesome I could see the difference in the day because we had 5 of our investigators in the church this week.

Story so well what happened was that we were walking like two months ago when I first got here to this area and we were walking and a family asked us if they could take us home and we usually say no but we saw and felt like it would be fine to take a ride from there family and it was awesome because they just live two stories above our apartment justo!  So awesome right and we then went to talk to them and they accepted us in there house and it went well and all but they never said yes to coming to church then one day we went to visit their family with a member and it went so well they said they would be follow the example of Jesus Christ and be baptised and they said they would for sure come to church on Sunday! We then visited them again with the same member and they were still set on for coming to church! And it was so awesome because they always made up excuses. So Sunday came along and we knocked on there door on our way to church and they said they were running a little bit late but they would come. We kinda felt a bit discouraged and we it was 10 and they called and said we are here!  So we walked out and they all came in and stayed for all three hours of church. It was AWESOME I know that really when we pray with faith and do all we can and serve God that he will bless us! They were excited to come to church and said they would come next week! I know that when we do our part that God will bless us! 

Temperature alert yeah its kinda hot here . . and they say its not summer yet so crazy but the people here are worth it! So yeah also its pretty still awesome here in Chile and I am doing good I am loving it the language is still coming along!  And I know that with God all is possible!  I love serving here in Copiapo Chile its so pretty here and I know that there are lots of people here waiting for me and my compi to come along and teach them ! The work is good here and we are finding and teaching and I know without a doubt that through God all things are possible if we just believe!  I am sure that Jesus Christ died for us so that we can go back to live with our families forever and so we can live in the presence of God again!  I love you guys so much and hope that you guys can have a awesome week!

kay here are some pictures of hermana Sotec and her companions! So yeah that was cool! Also there is our bedroom and us in the bus station waiting for the bus to come eating lunch!(: and yeah so that was that so fun!(: 

 And here are just the bus station out the window in Antofa! so cool!(: also this is us in the bus in the afternoon! with the Hermanas from caldera! so yeah that was a fun 8 hour bus ride!(: it was a bus full of Sisters and Elders and so funny! The sisters were singing and it kinda felt like girls camp a bit but you know it was fun!(: the Hermanas are awesome!(:

FELIZ DÍA DE LA GRACIA! Nov. 23, 2015

Okay buena! This week was exactly just that BUENA! It was more than that it was AWESOME!!!! We had a week maybe not of complete success but you know it was awesome! 

So we started this week by walking but you know the coolest thing that happened is that we got to go to Antofagasta as a mission now that was a 8 hour drive there and an 8 hour drive back but you know what happened there was so amazing and even though I could barely sleep the conference we had with Elder Cook was UNFORGETTABLE! It was amazing but you know the journey is a big part of the adventure so ill tell you what happened! So we worked Friday and at 9.30 we had to be in the bus station and our bus was suppose to leave at 10.30 but it was delayed 1 hour butIi have no idea what time we left because something weird happened to my watch! So we got on and we slept or I just sat there remembering all the drives I'd been on but how uncomfortable this one was with a guy sleeping on the seat next too me . . The time just dragged on but finally we got there and it was 5:30am the church didn't quite open up until6 am, so we left about at 6 and we all went over to the church in the night but it was cool they let us in and we were there with hermana andes and a bunch of other hermanas from copiapo well it was just the 6 of us but it was awesome we went in kinda woke up and hna andes gave us her bread that she had (that was nice of her right?) (; jeje but yeah then the time just was passing by slowly like we went in and were studying and about at 7 7.30 the other missionaries started to get there!(: so yeah and guess who we saw everyone i saw all my companions that are still here and it was awesome I could see Hermana Caballero Hna Leonhardt and Hermana Sotec! and don't worry they are all doing awesome still!(: but yeah then we went out to take a picture as a mission and everyone was there for the picture except for arica but I guess that's okay! It was fine! 

Then we went back in and started studying again! And then Elder Cook got there and he walked in and it was pretty cool! We then had all of the program which is the part that you are all waiting for right??(: jeje so what I learned from what they all said was that we don't need to be afraid to invite our purpose here as missionaries is to invite! As members we too are missionaries and we too have the same duty to invite people to come unto Christ its something we know that is so AWESOME! Why wouldn't we tell everyone at least post it on your facebook now I as a missionary don't have that opportunity to testify on Facebook buy you guys can! Share videos you like you know its through the little things that he uses to bring to pass the immortality and the eternal life! So awesome right that we can hare are testimony in just the was we act make people wonder why are they that way? And they might even ask! and if they do you just got the best opportunity right there! it was so awesome there words!

Elder Cooks wife talked about how hymn's are scriptures and they speak the trough and that we are in the work today! And that we shouldn't wait for the people to come to us we are the ones working here it was pretty inspiring! 

then Elder Cook talked about how we need to be an how we are here to invite and our calling is to be here we are here to be happy and to invite everyone to come unto Christ and it doesn't matter who we were before this it the time to be a missionary and with God we can and will if we let him help us be the missionary that he wants and needs us to be! it was so awesome and amazing how he shared his testimony and how he shared with us that really anything is possible! i know that with God all is possible he also talked about how he had a companion and he was awesome and that he couldn't speak as well but when he testified he had the spirit and he brought so many more people to baptism because he had the spirit maybe he couldn't talk as well or teach the best but it was his testimony that carried more than anything it was the spirit that he had and that was awesome! That really the spirit will help and if you work with the spirit then the people will feel it and that is the most important thing ever if you have the spirit! It was so amazing his testimony he said I know God lives! And the spirit was there so strong! 

I am so grateful for the time that I have here to be a missionary and the time I had to hear ELDER COOK! It was pretty amazing! I know that God lives and that he loves me so much I know that through him all is possible! I hope you guys know that I know God lives and I hope you guys have a awesome week! I know that all things are possible with God 

I am so grateful for all of you guys and for all that you ever do for me thank you so much and I hope that you all have a happy week and a happy thanksgiving! I love you guys so much and hope all is well!(: your so amazing and hope you never forget that! I love you tons!

So guys I can't actually believe I've been here for 9 cambios but you know that's how life goes! So this last week was awesome we had interviews and they went super well! I learned so much from president he's pretty cool! helping me realize that if we start focusing on what we can do we will really see how blessed we are and that we really do have the ability to do anything because really sometimes we forget but Jesus Christ can and will give us strength if we invite him in! So awesome I am so grateful for Jesu Cristo en my life he has really helped me become the person that i am today and i know for a fact that without him i wouldn't be where I am Today! 

So this week was awesome I started feeling more like what I have to say will help the people here and it did I feel like I can talk louder with more confidence and that the people understand me and its weird because its in another language but i know that what I am saying makes sense and that the words that I say have been inspired by the spirit! i know that really I am suppose to be here in copiapo with hermana Clawson! she is so awesome and is helping me so much here! Because we are alike and we can help people here! I know that this cambio is going to be awesome! 

So like really this week we visited lots of people and also walked some! But on Monday we had a family home evening and it went pretty well! everyone there participated and it was really spiritual it was about how we need to focus on the things most important and Jesus Christ will help us to become the people that we were created to be! I know that this is true also to look at the good in all things because maybe if its hard you come out with something good right??(: that's pretty awesome right I really know that if you look at the good in the hard times that really your life WILL BE BETTER! It doesn't even matter what happened if you look at the good it will! I know and can promise if we are optimistic in the hard times they will look better and they will get easier I know it because I have applied it in my life I know that sometimes things will be hard but when you do look at them with a big smile on your face it will be easier! 

This week I learned that and am always learning that through God anything is possible we just got to believe it and I know that it will! I love being here and cant believe the time is passing by so fast! But I know that I am suppose to be here the time that I am and that time is short but if I give it my all I know I can move mountains!(: 

so I hope you guys know that I know this church is true and i know that through God all things are possible we just got to believe it! I know that families can be together forever and God made that possible! I love you guys so much and hope that you never forget that and hope that you all have a awesome week! I love you guys tons! and hope that you guys have the best week every!

Nov. 9, 2015 one year mark!

Hello!
 So one year ago from this week I left my house I had just had the best 5 days with my family together and I left I got on a airplane and 
I flew to Mexico and a few short 6 weeks later I flew to Chile where I had to talk to people that I didn't understand I had a companion who barely understand me let me tell you it was hard but you know what I WOULD NEVER TAKE IT BACK EVER! like really I would never because maybe I cried maybe I felt like the first week in the mission was a year but you know what I LEARNED MORE in that week than I had my whole life about God and how much he loves everyone of his children! Even more so I loved people that I could barely understand! that I think is one thing that you can get from a mission that you could never receive in another way to be able to feel the pain someone is going through and speak in a broken language and for them to FEEL the spirit and they may not just have understood a word but they know that its true the words that are coming out of your mouth are true that what you are doing is right that it doesn't matter how many times I've messed up in Spanish how many people have laughed what really matters is who I am and how the mission is changing my view on life to take a step back to move to another place with a new culture you learn something so beautiful through the mission experience! You have dreams that your family life collide with your mission life trying to make sense to something you never thought could be real you knew it exisited but its hard to take it in! I know that the mission is hard and I still have a whole 6 months to help the people here in Chile but you know what what I have learned here I will never take back its changed my life and I promise if you get the chance to have this experience please take it you will never regret it! Its pretty amazing! I know that it may be a difficult process but its totally worth it! I love it so much and know I have SO MUCH MORE TO LEARN! but you know what I'm learning and growing laughing and crying I am living the missionary dream and its awesome!(: I love it here so much and I cant say it enough! But I know this is where I need to be right now! 

I know and have gained a new testimony on how families can be together forever and how grateful I really am for them and for there testimonies! Thanks guys like really for all you do for me and all your testimonies! You guys really helped me be the person that I am today! I know maybe you don't think so but its the truth!(: I know that through God all things are possible!(: like really! 

The other week I don't know if I told you but we found a family because there house was super awesome for Halloween and they are from Argentina but they are super awesome and aren't used to people yelling aloe (it sounds like that don't know how they spell it here) but they are used to people clapping! So weird so we tried clapping but we just ended up laughing because it was weird not to weird to scream but to clap . . kinda yeah! But you know thats the life here on the mission! but you know they are so awesome! They let us in and everything! And he doesn't believe in God but he likes that we believe in the families and he said he wants to hear us so thats so awesome!(: so crazy how we can help people like that believe! So awesome! I know that God lives and he loves us so much I know that anything is possible with him! I hope that you guys know that I love you guys and hope you guys have a awesome week! You guys are awesome I love you guys tons and yeah you guys are awesome I hope that you guys have a awesome week and that everything is going well!(: I love you guys so much and hope everything is going well!(:
